涉及位置信息服务(Location-basedService--LBS)是将无线通讯、互联网、定位和数字制图等技术成功地集于一体的服务性行业。它不再是言传世界,而是快速成长的时髦行业。意从技术和商业两角度来对LBS的发展作一回顾,看看它到底给我们将带来什么样的商机,也看看它对地理信息系统(GIS)行业有什么样的冲击和影响。在技术方面,讨论主要集中于LBS的历史、现状和发展趋势及成功实现LBS的关键所在。在商业方面,将讨论LBS市场容量、收入预测和商务模式。||Location Based Services(LBS)is no more a buzz word but a fast growing fashionable service integrating wireless communication,internet,positioning and digital mapping technologies.This paper provides an overview of LBS in terms of technical and business aspects with focus on the commercial opportunities and the impact on the GIS industry.Key elements of LBS development including technical,commercial and issues will be addressed.
