Abstract
十九世紀中葉清廷開放五口通商，大批西教士相繼來華，其中不少以粵省為起點。為了方便傳遞教義，西教士往往就地學習粵方言，並著手編寫和出版基督新教的經典《聖經》。由1862年首先出現單篇《馬太福音》到1894年新舊約全譯本的出版，共歷時三十多年，期間《聖經》單篇的出版並沒有停止過。本文擬就現存十九世紀《聖經》的粵語譯本探討其研究價值。
