Description

The Urban Studies Best Article is awarded by the editors to the authors of what they consider to be the most innovative and agenda-setting article published in a given year. Eleven articles were shortlisted by the editors from those published in print copy in 2021 and two were voted by the Editors as joint winners for 2021. I am delighted to let you know that your article, Urban volumetrics: From vertical to volumetric urbanisation and its extensions to empirical morphological analysis, is one of the winning articles [the other being Romit Chowdhury’s paper, The social life of transport infrastructures: Masculinities and everyday mobilities in Kolkata]. In agreement with our publisher, SAGE, we will be allowing Open Access to your article on the Journal’s website.
