Limin Endowed Young Scholar in Medical Laboratory Science 利民 (醫療化驗科學) 青年學者席

Duration : 5 years from 1 July 2021 onwards (renewable subject to your performance during this period)
Funding : HK$300,000 per year [for use by the awardee for research]

The Limin Endowed Scholar, which is first established in 2021 by the Academic Council with the donation of PolyU Technology and Consultancy Ltd (PTeC). The name of the Scholar is based on PolyU’s motto: 開物成務 勵學利民 (To learn and to apply, for the benefit of mankind). The competition is very keen. There are two awardees this year.

The selection criteria for the Endowed Young Scholars are as follows
(1) Demonstrate excellent scholarly and research achievements;
(2) Demonstrate outstanding contribution to knowledge transfer; and
(3) Are Assistant Professors/Associate Professors aged under or around 45.
