Description

This awarded project is about the design of wearable ankle exoskeleton for stroke rehabilitation. Using patented technologies based on neuroscientific principles, we developed a lightweight, easy-to-use, medical-grade, wearable ankle robot that helps stroke patients regain mobility. Sensors in the device can analyze the wearer’s intention to walk by detecting muscle movements and the electrical current inside those muscles, so that to exert force to support the movement.
