Description

The Award will sponsor my research project at the University of Chicago for 10 months in the academic year 2020/21. During my Fulbright fellowship, I will conduct a research project entitled “Preventing Youth Violence in Hong Kong: Gaining Experiences from Evidence-Based Best Practices in the United States”. The research would contribute to preventing youth violence in Hong Kong and other Chinese contexts. The Fulbright–RGC Hong Kong SENIOR Research Scholar Award Programme is a flagship international education exchange programme supported by the U.S. Department of State and partner countries around the world. Funded by the Research Grants Council, two awards will be on offer annually for Hong Kong scholars as Fulbright visiting scholars affiliated with American universities and research institutes. The Programme aims to support senior Hong Kong scholars to undertake research activities at American universities and research institutes.
