PolyU's team won First Prize at the 5th Zero Carbon Future Innovation Competition—held during the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics Annual Conference in Beijing on October 31 – November 2, 2025—for their project “Development of a smart mini-grid system for renewable energy storage and utilization.” Selected from 274 entries across nearly 40 universities, the competition recognized their exceptional innovation and practical impact on sustainable energy.
