Description

The Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences (HKAES) is an organization of Hong Kong’s most eminent engineers of various disciplines who are recognized leaders of the profession with distinguished achievements in engineering sciences or applications. The Fellowship is characterized by its dedication to serving Hong Kong with top-quality engineering expertise and therefore election to the Academy is highly prestigious and is by invitation only. Up to eight Fellows may be elected annually, with an accumulated total limited to sixty among 10,000 engineers (which is under 1% of all engineering professionals in Hong Kong) and related professional. All are elected by their peers for personal achievements of exceptional merit and distinction. Fellows are distinguished by the title “Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences” with the designatory letters “FHKEng”.
