Dr Vincent Tung received the Emerging Scholar of Distinction Award (2021) from the International Academy for the Study of Tourism. The online presentation that he shared at the Academy Conference 2022 is on the theme of ‘Visioning the Future of Tourism’. The presentation conceptualizes what ‘the future’ may mean to different stakeholders, including tourists, residents, employees, policymakers, and destination marketing organizations (DMOs), in a multi-phase, temporal perspective.
