Professor Y.Q. Ni (CEE) received the 2017 “Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) Person-of-the-Year” Award by the international journal Structural Health Monitoring during the 11th International Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring, 12-14 September 2017, Stanford, California, USA. With the awardee being selected by the editorial board of the journal, this award is presented to the person who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of structural health monitoring (SHM) in terms of theory, analysis, applications, and education that advance the broad discipline of SHM and benefit society.
