Kaxton Siu is Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research concentrates on labor, migration, and young people in East and Southeast Asia, particularly China, Vietnam, Japan and Hong Kong. His work has been published in Politics and Society, The China JournalCritical Asian StudiesYouth and Society, Journal of Youth StudiesJournal of Contemporary Asia, and British Journal of Social Work.
