Personal profile


Wen CHEN received Ph.D. degree in National University of Singapore. He has conducted much research work as Research Associate and Research Fellow in National University of Singapore from 2010 to 2015. He was a visiting scholar in Harvard University, U.S.A. in 2013.

He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  

He has published more than 120 international journal and conference papers, and some publications have been highlighted or reported, such as AIP press release. He fulfils many professional services, such as an Editorial Board Member for “Scientific Reports”, an Associate Editor for “IEEE Access”, an Associate Editor for "Optics and Lasers in Engineering", and an active reviewer for many important journals in his research field. He was recognized as an outstanding reviewer for OSA publishing (Optical Society of America) in Aug. 2016.
