Personal profile


Dr. Pin graduated as a physiotherapist at the Hong Kong Polytechnic (former name of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University). She pursued her specialisation as a paediatric physiotherapist in Australia, obtaining her post-graduate diploma and Master of Sciences (Health Sciences) degree at the Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia in 1993 and 1996 respectively. She graduated from her Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Melbourne in 2009. Dr Pin has a very strong clinical background in neurological paediatrics and has been working as a paediatric physiotherapist in Hong Kong, UK and Australia in the last 20 years. She gained solid clinical experiences by working in the community and hospitals in both urban and remote areas in Australia. Dr Pin has all her publications in the area of developmental medicine and cerebral palsy in various highly rated international journals, among which, five doctoral research papers are focused on motor development of preterm birth.
