Dr. Cheng received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Melbourne in 2019. He was also a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley from 2017 to 2018. After his Ph.D., Dr. Cheng joined the Energy Systems Division at Argonne National Laboratory as a postdoc from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, Dr. Cheng joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an Assistant Professor.
