Biography
Prof. Shaoyu Chen (陈少瑜) obtained her doctoral degrees in chemistry and textile technology under the supervision of Prof. Ben L. Feringa (University of Groningen) and Prof. Chaoxia Wang (Jiangnan University). Afterwards, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow under the guidance of Prof. Ben L. Feringa and Prof. Da-Hui Qu (East China University of Science and Technology). She joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) as an assistant professor in 2023 and was awarded the PolyU Young Innovative Researcher Award in 2024. Her research focuses on the design and synthesis of amphiphilic molecular machine-based smart materials.
