Biography
Professor Anthony Kong is an assistant professor at the School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, specializing in entertainment arts technology. With extensive expertise in the transdisciplinary fields of design, technology, and service, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. Before joining PolyU Design, Prof. Kong held positions as Associate Director, Programme Leader, and Senior Lecturer at Hong Kong Design Institute; Course Director at Coventry University in Hong Kong; and Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer at Saint Francis University. He also taught at City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, and the Vocational Training Council.
Research interests
His research interests lie in the transdisciplinary area of Entertainment Arts Technology (e.g. Artificial Intelligence for Entertainment, Digital Culture and Humanity, Design for Hospitality & Tourism, Design for Wellbeing, Sports Technology, Edutainment and Extended-Reality).
