Biography

Dr Norman Au is an Associate Professor in School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is currently the specialist (Hospitality and Tourism) of Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ); the honorary advisor for Hospitality Management programmes at Caritas Institute of Higher Education, and external examiner at Hong Kong College of Technology and YMCA College of Careers for hospitality and tourism related programmes. Dr. Au serves as an editorial board member of International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, and as guest reviewer for many prestige hospitality/tourism and information systems journals. His current research interests include robotic and augmented reality applications in tourism, social media marketing and information systems management.
