Biography

Shirley o is a Clinical Associate in the School of Nursing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Laws from the University of London, and her Ph.D from the University of Sheffield.  She has practiced nursing in Hong Kong and Canada.  Her research interests focus primarily on the various aspects of gerontological care, in particularly, issues related to elder abuse. She has published a book chapter, and journal papers internationally and locally.  Along her line of work and service, she collaborates with practitioners and scholars, both locally and globally, from various health and health-related disciplines.
