Biography

I teach a range of academic and professional English communication subjects. My other key roles in the ELC include coordinating the discipline specific English programme, which includes 30 academic and professional English communication subjects, and subject leading the following courses:

ELC3621 - Professional English for Social Sciences

ELC3628 - Professional English for Applied Ageing Studies and Service Management Students

ELC1A01 - Science Fiction as a Reflection on Humanity.

I have contributed to various programmes in the areas of service learning, teacher training, and mentoring. I also serve on various committees including the Centre Learning and Teaching Committee and the Centre Management Committee. I have presented and published papers on English medium instruction, English for academic purposes, assessment, mentoring, and multimodality.
