The opening of cruise terminal on the former site of Kai Tak Airport will create more job opportunity for the maritime industry in Hong Kong, according to Dr TL Yip, Associate Director of PolyU(LMS)’s CY Tung International Centre for Maritime Studies. In explaining the job nature of cruise crew and supporting staff, Dr Yip added that it is easier for Hong Kong to converge with the international maritime industry, and LMS graduates enjoy good career prospect.
