In the age of AI, the potential of ChatGPT in translation and writing has gained widespread recognition. This chapter introduces the design and practical application of an AI-powered Translation Platform, which mainly utilizes ChatGPT to realize multiple functions including English/Chinese translation, creative writing, and translation feedback provision. We discuss the platform's design, its advantages, and its implications for research—specifically in areas like translator training, second language (L2) writing, and translation evaluation—as well as for educational applications in translation teaching. Furthermore, this chapter presents a case study conducted based on the feedback function, to examine how students engage with ChatGPT’s translation feedback and their perceptions of its usefulness. The results suggest that ChatGPT effectively delivers high-quality feedback on surface-level textual features and that students have an overall positive attitude toward this feedback model.| Period | 28 Jun 2024 → 29 Jun 2024 |
