Appointed by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) as a ‘Specialist in Hotel Management’ to support the company's audit team for the ISO 9000 quality management system assessment of hotels in Oct 2000. Used expertise in hotel management to support the audit team assessing the ISO 9000 quality management system at the World Trade Centre Grand Hotel ZheJiang’s in Hangzhou, China. This involved training the audit team in general hotel operations before the audit of the hotel.
