Dr. Lai served as President of Rotary Club of Tsim Sha Tsui. Under her leadership, the Club has offered community services to promote social inclusion, barrier-free learning environment for student with special educational needs, mental wellness of youth, and intergenerational support. The club has donated medical supplies to India and local communities to combat COVID-19, organized vocational training to healthcare professional of Mongolia to serve people with autism spectrum disorder, and sponsored health care projects.
