Dementia affects millions of people around the world, including both people with dementia as well as their families and caregivers. It is important to develop low-cost, culturally and contextually appropriate and effective actions to prevent, delay or manage dementia. Scientists and practitioners of different disciplines are working together to offer the best solutions in dementia care. We welcome manuscripts from all disciplines that focus on the delivery of care for people with dementia, family caregivers, and formal caregivers (i.e., professionals who offer dementia care). Studies showing clinical trials or pilot tests of innovative dementia care in community or long-term care settings, developmental process or implementation of dementia care interventions, and feedback from stakeholders are most welcome. The use of technology in dementia care can be a highlight. Impacts of dementia care on people’s psychosocial or physical health, economical contribution to society, sustainability in health care systems and manpower issues could also be the focus of the submitted manuscripts.
