Flinovia (Flow induced noise and vibration issues and aspects) IV -- A focus on measurement, modeling, simulation and reproduction of the flow excitation and flow induced response

Description

Finovia is a group of researchers who focused their research activities on the structural excitation by turbulent flows, including turbulent boundary layers, ingested turbulence, free and impinging jets, and other turbulent shear layers. Structural response, including vibration, stress, as well as sound re-radiation are of particular interest to the group.

The 4th flinovia symposium will be held in UNSW Sydney, Australia, 22 – 24 May 2023. The previous editions were held in Rome (2013), Penn State (2017) and Lyon (2019). There are oral presentations by selected speakers who have 40 minutes each. After the conference, the contributed papers are considered for publication in a printed version edited by Springer.
